MESSAGES
Work is Worship.
Dr. Veeranna C. Charantimath
B.V.V.S. Bagalkot Chairman's Message
B.V.V.Sangha was established with far sighted perception of Shri His Holiness Gurubasava Mahawamiji of Bilur. It was started as Sanskrit Patashala to give sanskara to our children through value based education. Which is the need of the hour where values are fast disappearing in the modern society. Our Sangha is doing yeoman service in the field of education . The main motto of Sangha is to uphold the values and commitment for excellence in higher education. Since the inception of Sangha it is rendering stupendous contribution in the field of education with more than 150 educational institutes under its banner. Sangha has been growing tremendously with the blessings of Lord Gurubasava, committed Sangha members and dedicated teaching and non-teaching faculty. I assure you students that our Sangha will help in overall development of students with all necessary facilities. So, I welcome whole heartedly one and all to our institution. It is our belief that “what we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal”. Warm Regards.

BGMIT Chairman's Message
The wealth of a country is in its youths knowledge, thus the best way to be part of nation building is by educating the upcoming generation. BVVS Bagalkot, is in the service of nation through providing education at all levels from kindergarten to Postgraduate in wide spectrum of medical, technical and non technical fields.
“India lives in its villages” – Mahatma Gandhi, The famous observation made by the Father of the Nation many years ago, still holds true. With the vision of providing technical education to rural students and involve them in nation building, BVVS Bagalkot, established Biluru Gurubasava Mahaswamiji Institute of Technology in Mudhol in the year 2013. The institute is committed to provide Quality Technical Education to rural students. It has all the required facilities to make the aspirant students to achieve their personal goals and to motivate the students to be part of nation building. I am happy about our students’ achievements in academics, sports, participation in state and national level exhibitions representations with awards. I assure every BGMIT aspirant that it will be vibrant four years’ experience and you would come out with flying colors to make your parents/ country proud. We as BGMIT family are happy to be part of your successful life journey. Wish you all a very successful and happy career ahead.
Dr. Shravankumar B. Kerur
BGMIT Principal's Message
The institute is named after His Holiness Shree Gurubasava Swamiji of Biluru (Maharastra state) who is the founder of Basaveshwar Veershaiva Vidyavardhak Sangha (BVVS), Bagalkot in the year 1906. The main motivation behind starting BGMIT at Mudhol is to make the quality technical education available for rural masses of India to fall in line with the vision of Late Dr. APJ Ablul Kalam of Providing Urban Amenities to Rural Areas (PURA). Through number of interactions with the people of in-and-around Mudhol , I observed that each one of them is swollen with pride for having an institute of higher learning in their vicinity. They never forget to express their gratitude to Shri Veeranna Charantimath, Chairman BVV Sangha, for taking initiative in this endeavor. If we recall, just two decades back, the western part of Bagalkot district which also includes Mudhol, was typically a backward area of north Karnataka. But life at this place has astonishingly changed due to arrival of bunch of sugar industries. Simultaneous development is to be undertaken in the field of education. In view of this, BGMIT throws an opportunity for the poor and under privileged boys and girls of surrounding districts. We are striving hard to maintain the high standards in imparting technical education. Over last few years it is an established fact that we take utmost personal care of individual students at BGMIT. I appreciate the efforts put forth by the students of BGMIT in acquiring technical knowledge and hoping for a successful career in their lives. I also whole heartedly welcome the aspirants of BGMIT.
